Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
Information We Collect
- Contact details such as name, email address, phone number and company name.
- Inquiry details such as project requirements, budget, timeline, and messages you share through our forms, calculators or chat.
- Chat conversations with our website assistant, including your answers to its questions.
- Meeting details when you book a call with us: your chosen time, topic and contact details.
- Visit details such as the page you sent a form from, the website or link that brought you to us (including campaign tags in the link), and a random visitor identifier stored in a cookie.
- Usage data including pages visited and interactions (via analytics).
- Technical data such as IP address, device type, and browser.
We may also work out your country from your phone number's country code.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to inquiries, understand your requirements, and provide our services.
- To arrange and hold meetings you book with us.
- To send follow-up emails about your inquiry. You can stop these at any time (see "Emails and Messages").
- To improve website performance and user experience.
- To communicate updates, offers, or important notices.
- To protect our website and forms from spam and misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
We use artificial intelligence (AI), currently Google's Gemini models, to help us respond to you faster:
- Website assistant. Our chat assistant is powered by AI. It answers questions using information we have approved about our services. It may ask questions to understand your needs, suggest suitable services, and book a meeting with our team. You can ask to speak with a person at any time. The assistant does not quote prices. Information it gives is general, and a member of our team confirms any proposal.
- Inquiry analysis. When you send us an inquiry, AI helps us identify the service you need, summarise your requirements, and decide how quickly to respond. Only the content of your inquiry is sent for this analysis. Your name, email address and phone number are not.
- Email drafts. AI may help draft follow-up emails to you. A member of our team reviews and approves each email before it is sent.
AI helps our team prioritise and respond. It does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and people on our team make all decisions about our services and proposals.
Emails and Messages
- Email. We may send you a short series of follow-up emails about your inquiry from contactus@murmusoftwareinfotech.com. Every follow-up email includes an unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe, we stop sending you follow-up emails and keep a record so that you are not contacted again. Replying to tell us to stop also works.
- WhatsApp. If you share a WhatsApp number with us, a member of our team may contact you on WhatsApp about your inquiry. We do not send automated marketing messages on WhatsApp. To stop, tell us in the chat or contact us.
Cookies & Tracking
We may use cookies, reCAPTCHA, and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to protect our forms from spam, to remember a random visitor identifier, and to understand how visitors use our site. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, under contracts and confidentiality obligations, such as:
- Hosting and database: our web servers and database provider (Supabase).
- AI: Google (Gemini), as described in "Use of Artificial Intelligence".
- Email: our email provider (GoDaddy).
- Meetings: Microsoft (Teams and Outlook calendar).
- WhatsApp messaging: our WhatsApp messaging service provider.
- Website content: our content management system (Sanity).
- Analytics and spam protection: Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA).
- Payments: Razorpay (see "Payment Processing").
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
International Transfers
Some of our service providers store or process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information remains protected.
Payment Processing
Payments made on our website are processed securely by third-party payment gateway providers such as Razorpay. We do not store or process sensitive payment information (such as card details, UPI IDs, or banking credentials) on our servers. Such information is handled directly by the payment gateway in accordance with their privacy and security policies.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. Access to inquiry data is limited to authorised team members, each of whom sees only what their role requires. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

- Correct or update your personal information.
- Ask us to delete your personal information, unless we must keep it by law.

- Request information about how your data is processed and who it is shared with.
- Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. If you unsubscribe or ask us not to contact you, we keep a minimal record (such as your email address) so that we respect that choice.

Our website may include links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies when visiting.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
